The new Active 20 monitor from ATC redefines loudspeaker transparency. It brings professional levels of performance to the home user in all important criteria: transparency, accuracy, dynamics, bandwidth, power handling and high continuous SPLs unequalled by any similar product. The distinctive styling of the Active 20, with its attractive grey laminate and aluminium finish, has been fashioned for absolute structural integrity to eliminate unwanted resonance and vibration.

The soft dome tweeter features a double magnet system, giving an exceptionally smooth and linear frequency response to well beyond 25kHz which will accurately reproduce musical harmonics and soundtrack peaks revealed by DVDA®, SACD®, Dolby Digital® etc. The Active 20 features the latest version of ATC's famous hand-built 150mm (6") bass/mid drive unit which contributes to the system's exceptionally low levels of colouration.

2-way close matching monoblock amplifiers are optimised for each driver bandwidth, with grounded source® topology output stages delivering 50 watts to the HF driver and 200 watts to the bass/mid driver.
