Burmester Amplifier 082
The integrated amplifier 082 directly descends from our integrated amplifier 032 and lines up smoothly with our family of internationally awarded power amps 909, 911 MK3, 956 MK2 and 036.
Despite the slightly smaller power supply, compared to the 032, the 082 impresses with its output. The 082 assorts optimally with our CD Players, especially the Classic Line 061 CD-Player. The 082 realizes our sonic ideals: warm, spacious, powerful and yet detailed sound. This is achieved with a circuit arrangement, resting on fully balanced, DC-coupled amplification stages. Thanks to the generously dimensioned power supply, the 082 is able to deliver stable large currents and is effortlessly capable of driving loudspeakers with critical loads.

Due to its versatility of functions, the 082 is perfectly convenient for stereo as well as for home theatre applications. It offers a home theatre throughput terminal, which routs signals past the pre amplification stage directly to the power amp. This throughput can also be controlled by the new BurLink interface.
The amplification stages of the integrated amplifiers 032 or 082 are identical to the ones of the 3-channel power amp 037, the 5/6-channel power amp 039 or the stereo power amp 036. The resulting total coherence amplification (TCA) allows, for example, the combination of the Burmester multichannel amplifiers 037 and 039 to be perfectly combined with 032 integrated amplifier.
