SE-300B

The SE 300B is the first triode amplifier that Jadis have ever produced. Its arrival on the market occurs at a moment when triode supplies have vastly improved, but they have always strongly believed in the excellent quality of this active component. Since then, the family of triode amplifiers has increased with the development of the SE 845 model.

For each mono block, the amplifier uses two 300B triodes mounted in parallel. The filament tension has been rectified to prevent any noise from the unit. The enormous filtering capacity of the voltage regulation (22000µF) contributes to its silent functioning. The use of rectifying valves prevents commutation jumps from occurring during bias inversions. These valves supply the high voltage necessary to work the 6SN7 input tubes as well as the 300B power tubes.

In order to have enough bass, we recommend the use of speakers with an efficiency of 98 dB, even though this amplifier has begun to be effective for speakers with 92 dB efficiency.
